Do I need to be certified to use DISC + Motivators?

No, certification is not required to get started. However, certification provides a deeper understanding of how to interpret the results, debrief reports, and apply the insights effectively in coaching, leadership, and team development. Many practitioners who have been using DISC and Motivators for years before getting certified consistently rave about how much they didn’t realize they were missing, before becoming certified.

Can Motivators be used to benchmark new hires?

While there is no formal benchmarking for Motivators, when used appropriately DISC + Motivators can provide valuable insight into how a candidate is likely to behave and what drives their decisions, helping you better understand fit, communication style, and potential alignment with the role.

At Assessments 24x7, our assessments meet EEOC standards for class protection and are commonly used as part of the selection process. However, we never recommend making hiring decisions based on assessment data alone.
